GradTax is built for college students and recent grads—especially those with simple returns, job income, scholarships, or side gigs like DoorDash or tutoring.
It depends on how much was taken out of your paychecks for federal and state taxes (called “withholding”) and if you qualify for education credits. Most students get a refund of $100 to $1,200, depending on how much was withheld from your paychecks.
We offer flat-rate pricing. No surprises. The standard price is $48.95, which includes your federal and state returns. That includes claiming any student credits you qualify for.
Just fill out our quick intake form. Once you're approved, you'll be invited to join our waitlist. Then in December, our client portal will open, and you can upload your documents securely.
Yes! Even if your parents claim you, you can usually still file your own taxes and get a refund for the taxes you overpaid at work.
